An Original Gold El Primero, A Sweet (And Cheap) Heuer Autavia, And The Original IWC Ceramic Chrono

It's been a busy week here on the 'Dink, but that doesn't mean we've forgotten our promise to show you some of the illest vintage ish for sale on the net - you know, if you're NOT saving up for a $4,000,000 platinum Patek Philippe perpetual calendar chronograph owned by Eric Clapton. This week it's all about vintage chronographs and we've found you some great ones including: a solid gold early El Primero Zenith, a great super vintage-looking Heuer Autavia, and a cult-classic IWC pilot's watch, in ceramic. This is a good one, folks.

Zenith Reference G381 El Primero Chronograph

The early El Primero chronos from Zenith are undeniably sexy, and they are really coming up in value and desirability. While the A386 is the reference that most tend to pine for - it is, after all, the original El Primero chrono, and completely with tri-color dial now found on the great Zenith's of today - the G381 is a connoisseur's watch. It uses the same case design, but in solid 18k yellow gold, and with a gorgeous dial sans-overlapping registers. In this case, they've turned a lovely brown, too. The G381 is actually rarer than the A386 - only 700 examples were produced between 1969 and 1972, while the A386 is somewhere between 2500 and 3500 examples. This one is for sale in italy from the Caso brothers, and while it's probably not "cheap" like this gold Zenith, it's just a gorgeous watch with a fantastic movement that will only rise in value. 1960s Heuer Autavia Two-Register Chrono

Want an awesome vintage chronograph that looks as old as it is, but in a great way? This 1960s manually wound Heuer Autavia is it, and for only 1300 Swiss Francs. It's a reference 3646 and has a fanatically faded dial, perfect deep patina on the hour markers and hands, and an awesome faded grey bezel. We're not saying this guy is in mint condition - becausec it's definitely not - but its got a killer look for not too much money. (Original Listing)

IWC Fliegerchronograph Reference 3705

We've showed you this watch before, when we compared it to 2012's Miramar Top Gun Chronograph, and we can't stress how much we love it. You do not often see them for sale, but we came across one on TZ and had to point it out. It was the first fully ceramic cased IWC Chronograph, and one of the very first ceramic cases, period. It's sized at 39mm and just a classic chronograph from the hey-day of IWC. Price is $6500 and comes with full box and papers. (Original Listing)
